So much easier to run hands free
Love the material its made from and the concept of the leash, I purchased 2 belts, 1 short leash and 1 long leash. I prefer using the long leash as I think the short one is too long at time, walking them is fine but I do a lot of hiking and found the short one is just too short. I also prefer walking only one dog attached to me verses 2 since they do not like walking next to each other and would rather be on opposite sides. I usually walk 2 dogs while my husband walks the other one. Overall this is a great product and seems to be made very well. I would recommend this to others.
I have both versions of the Iron Doggy running leashes. I started with the longer, heavy duty version and thought this one would be perfect. The other leash gives my dog just enough wander room to not trip me up on my training runs on the trails... however this one was just too short for running as he was always getting under my feet.
Maybe add 12” and it would be better?
Still an awesome leash, light weight and I love it, but I would use this one maybe for walking and not my training runs.
If your dog stays right by your side and heels this might work for you, but my dog runs about as straight as i do hahahahahaha
Using this leash for my Beagle/pit mix. He is about 48 lbs. The handles make it so easy to control him if needed and the bungee helps with pulling (since he runs faster than I do). Totally worth it!!
We've talked to many customers who bought cheap knock-offs of our running leashes, only to find out that they aren't up for the job. That won't happen with an Iron Doggy. In the extremely unlikely event that you aren't completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it to us and we’ll give you a full refund. No questions asked.
Outside of the United States, we ship USPS First Class. Depending on the location, the shipping charge is $13.95 to $18.95. While we wish it weren't true, it can take 3 to 4 weeks for international shipments to arrive.
