It kills me to write this ….. Our beautiful, wild, sweet Zola was hit by a car Saturday evening. She’s been in emergency care animal hospitals for over 40 hours now, and we are holding our breath until she is back home with us. The doctors are giving us every reason to believe that in spite of her collapsed lungs, severe bruising, and shattered femur, Zola will be good as new in a couple of months. Until then, we are counting our blessings.
