We’re celebrating the completion of the initial mock-up of our very own hands-free running leash. When we started running with Zola a couple of month’s back, we began our quest for the perfect equipment. We need something that allows us to maintain proper running form, is light-weight and comfortable to wear. We also need something that is durable, strong, and allows us to maintain control over Zola when she decides to go after a rabbit. After trying out a handful of the most recommended running leashes on the market, we determined that none of them totally fit the bill. We thought, what the hell, lets make our own.
So that’s what we’re doing and we’re pretty darned excited to now be running with our own equipment. We already can see bits that we want to tweak, but early signs are that we are on to something.
